My room is clean!

There is still a little clutter around my desk, but for all intents and purposes - my room is clean! This is going to be a short post because it's late, but I felt like I should say something about it. I didn't know my floor could be as clean as it is. It feels great to have a clean room. Now to never let it get that bad again...

I'm Back...

I doubt I'll post blogs as often as I did before my absence because it was new to me then, but I will start posting new ones much more often than every four months.

I really enjoyed summer, I turned 16 and can now go get my license to drive (when I get my room clean), I unexpectantly was awarded 'Super Camper' during Teen Camp which means next year's tuition is free, I got to be on the recreational staff during Junior Camp, I met a girl at camp who I now talk to quite often through e-mail and the telephone, I got to celebrate my birthday in Orlando, Florida, I got to go to Grand Bahama Island and see the beautiful beaches there, and I finally got to see what life is like outside of the U.S. It was quite an experiencce; the only drawback is having to go back to school (and in this intense heat)!

My first driving experience...

...wasn't pretty! I'll start out by patting myself on the back for not hitting anything or running any lights or signs, but that's about all that went right! I was so nervous that I constantly stayed atleast 10 mph under the speed limit. I'd turn too sharply one time and then too wide the next! I would occasionally slip into the next lane, and then when it came to stop - let's just say I pushed the limit on stopping within 15 feet of the intersection. To finish it all off, I hit the gas when I was scooting in to the parking space! Thank God I was so nervous that I had stopped ten feet in front of the wall before I hit the accelerator!

T.G.I.F.

Thank God it's Friday! I'm so glad that I have the day off! I feel sorry for my mom since she has to go to school, but should that stop me from being happy? Unfortunately, I have to clean my room today.

I took dawg's Sports Car Quiz

It turns out I'm a Porshe 911. I don't know if I like those numbers (9-11).

I'm a Porsche 911!

My poor dog!

Many of you know me and my dog, Cinnamon. For those of you who don't, he's a cinnamon-colored (hence the name Cinnamon) pomeranian. He weighs about six pounds and is about a foot long. Anyway, my mom decides to groom him. Okay, he hasn't been groomed since God only knows when, so that seems alright. Well, she decides to have me pin him down while he gets trimmed. He's flopping around and kicking (which doesn't really hurt from a six-pound dog) and licking and whimpering; man it was horrible! Finally, she decides to trim the tail. I had gone upstairs by this point and had no idea what was happening below me. Take a look at what she did! (Focus on the tail!)

All that's left is a cotton ball! I'm telling you he is embarrassed (and so am I)!

I'm going to start driving soon!

I'm excited yet at the same time I'm petrified! I think it's cool to finally be behind a wheel that actually moves; It's a great improvement over a video game. However, I know that my life will be in my hands! (Think about it a moment and you'll understand!) Not only that, I kind of enjoy being chauffeured around.; people pay good money for that! I'm afraid I'm going to tense up, lose control, loosen up too much, and/or get killed! Deep down I know that I want to drive, but that sure doesn't stop me from worrying!

By the way, I passed the initial test and will soon be getting my permit. I'm already in driver's education, so I'm starting down the path of driving whether I'm ready or not! (Path - driving - haha, man I have dry humour!)
